Trucks, trucks, and more trucks!

I took Zach to the Touch-A-Truck event in Thousand Oaks today and he had a BLAST! He got to climb into a helicopter, Fire Crew truck, and a school bus. We also got to take a hay ride around the park. He got to hold a fire hose and help the fireman turn it on, color with bath crayons all over a pick-up truck and then help wash it off, and he got to see so many other trucks and vehicles! What a fun day for us. I also got to meet an online friend in person at the event and we had such a great time getting to talk in person! She has a son named Zachary as well and he is only a few weeks younger than my Zach. The boys had so much fun together!

Zach had a great time opening presents this afternoon and definitely enjoyed his Baskin-Robbins ice cream cake for dessert!

Zach is 2!

I can not believe it has been two years since our bundle of love and energy entered our lives! Tim and I could not imagine the love we would have for our little miracle but it seems that every day that love just grows and grows. So much has happened in his short 2 years on this earth. He has turned into quite a fun little boy with an incredible imagination! He loves to talk, loves to play, and is just a joy to be around. We are so very lucky to have him in our lives and look forward to another year of watching him discover the world around him.

Drawbrdge...=)

Zach loves the Garbage("drawbrdge") truck. Well, all trucks as a matter of fact. Here is a cute video I took yesterday when the garbage truck went by.

Happy 29th Birthday to me!

We spent my birthday at Disneyland. My mom and dad were here so the four of us had a great time! Here are some photos, they are in backwards order as I am tired and in need of getting to sleep. =) It was a great day, despite Tim's absence and the parks were not busy and the sky was cloudy(no sun!). Enjoy!

Yo Gabba Gabba!

We are back home from a whirlwind trip to Northern California. My mom is here to stay with us for the week to get her grandma time in with Zach. =)

The three of us went to the Santa Barbara Zoo to see Brobee from Yo Gabba Gabba(a kids TV show). Zach was NOT patient at all and was crying to get down and hug Brobee. The mom's around us thought he was scared...haha, not so much. He ran up to him and gave him a huge hug! The Zoo employee took great pictures with my camera, I was so happy!

Zach's Busy Days

Zach is learning so much lately. His speech is skyrocketing and it is so much fun to be able to communicate with him. He has lots and lots of words but I will list some of the cutest and my favorites:

His favorite things:
He loves to push his stroller around and his shopping cart too. He LOVES trucks. Trucks trucks trucks. He has lots and lots of trucks to play with, small, large, you name it. He is constantly pointing them out while we are driving around. He has a book of 100 trucks that Mawmaw and Pawpaw gave him that he makes me read to him about 20 times a day! We have fun at the park almost every day, it is great for him to interact with the other kids and mama gets the chance to socialize with the other mamas. =)
